Education Assistance Program

PT. Energy Batu Hitam through it’s External Affair department distributed assistance for the Community Empowerment Development (PPM) program in the form of achievement scholarships to elementary school students in four assisted villages, Kampung Dingin, Kampung Lotaq, Kampung Payang in Muara Lawa District and Kampung Muhur in Siluq Ngurai District on 28/10/24. The activity took place in each school in each village.

The assistance was handed over by EA, CSR & Comrel Sufandi AM and his team, in the ceremonial handover of assistance in his speech said, the assistance called Bakti Pendidikan is one of the flagship programs in the PPM Master Plan of PT. EBH, where for this time the company provides scholarships for outstanding children in class, namely those who get 1^st – 3^rd ranks in class. He added that this program is a stimulus for children to continue to excel and study hard in order to get the best grades in their class, he said.

On the same occasion, each school principal in different places expressed their highest gratitude to the company for helping schools in the mining area, and appreciated the company PT. EBH for caring about the surrounding community. With hope that this program can last as long as the company operates and also be improved into other forms in the field of education.

As for this occasion, the assistance provided was in the form of school supplies including school bags, notebooks, complete stationery, socks and cash for children's savings.
